I was gifted this a while back but never got round to fixing the dents. I tried using the ice method a couple of times and attempted to make a dolly to push them out through the filler hole but nothing worked so I filled them with good old Isopon P38 filler. All I have to do now is collect the rest of the bits together and I'll have TL136 to keep my TL106 company! It's not the best paint job I've done but it'll look OK once the rest of it is assembled.
We'll, having had a look around, I'll need a pump, a control valve knob (the push on type) and a shade but that's optional.
If I open up the box I have ready to send you Colin I’ll certainly manage a pump for you and possibly a control cock as well. BTW did you read my last PM to you?
Colin your lamp base is looking very nice indeed. The control cock and pump will most likely be and easy find. Finding an original shade may be a little harder to find. Cheers, Norman
Actually I don't think I did! Technology is great when it works, a nightmare when it doesn't! The last couple of days our internet has been absolutely unusable - maybe that had something to do with it. I'll definitely have the pump and control cock - that'll save me loads of messing around. I have a control cock that would do but it's got a missing plastic knob! The shade will either be something I stumble across or I'll re-purpose something else and make it fit like I usually do!
Hey @ColinG She’s looking bloody great. I reckon you’ll find all the parts. As Norman said, the hard bit will be a suitable shade. Good luck mate. Chat to you and Norman tomorrow. Cheers Pete
