    Has some similarities in style and reminds me of a Coleman 295-700T 'Powerhouse'.

    @sedgeman - I am with you. It looks to be a copy of the Coleman 295 Powerhouse, but running on Kero. There is a pre-heat cup if I am not mistaken. That could be a good practical lantern.

    That's what I was thinking too. Are they still for sale anywhere?

    I wonder how closely they copied Coleman. I have a 285 with a knackered Hood/Ventilator. These are not for sale on Old Coleman Parts or anywhere else I can find.

    Since it's steel I could probably weld it but if an Anchor one would fit it's certainly a thought. I wonder how well they have enamelled the top?

    It is listed in the PLC as a cream coloured lantern in the style of Coleman 286 and possibly for gasoline. That is obviously wrong as it is clearly a kero burner. I do not list it in black either so the description will have to be changed. Most interesting post so thanks for proving me wrong. It's always good to be shown a better truth. ::Neil::

    @Mackburner

    It has a lantern illustration in cream on the box (above).

    Cheers

    It was made at the Shanghai Pressure Lantern Factory. I'd guess the quality should be decent. As with the Anchor.
    I think the factory's no longer in production.

    @Pancholoco1911 I think you are right, my estimation of 295 took no account of the size. Now you mention 214 it makes perfect sense.
