My parcel from the East arrived today.
It is unclear to me if this is a new or an NOS unbranded lantern from Aliex…

    And the money shot.
Swapped to inox burner hood from a working Pmax.. Clay burner a no no for me…

    Correction, not Aliex...
Will need taobao agent in your area to get them.
    Brass Chrome 150CP
Brass Chrome and Lantern Pole 150CP
    Chrome 150CP

With shipping cost, i would say, they cost the what Petromax HK150 would have cost when new. Build quality expect the Santrax Pmax. But it does feel slightly different from my brass Santrax. I'm not sure why.

It looks pretty shiny and new to me. Is that a steel lantern? Where's that from?

@MYN Brass base metal, exactly like the modern Santrax and Pmax.

That could be made by the same manufacturer of the modern Petromax or the Santrax. Only they don't put a brand on it.

It's probably a chrome plated steel tank. Have you tried sticking a magnet to it!

I'm not particularly certain but some of these lanterns appear as if they're chrome-played brass instead of nickel.
Chrome masks out all the yellow-brassy colours. Nickel-plated ones usually have a very slight yellow tint on them.

I am really confident this lamp was made by the same company, albeit with some minor changes. Perhaps to their original design? or cost cutting? However, the most of it is Petromaxy Santraxy. Even has the 6 digit serial.

Nothing, like the Out-D L6 lamp.

I've never owned any of them. How's the basic quality like?

    These modern Pmax made lanterns…
I never seen any other clones for 150cp to really compare with. I will get back with maybe some photos of a Pmax HK150, Out-D and this un-named one.. I've just poured red-kote into the Out-D tank, it developed some surface rust.

The badge mounting holes are there but no tag :-({|=
