I agree with @Alex74 But are you sure it's not a museum, looks to excellent to be a shed, where is the mess? @AussiePete Its so clean you can eat off the floor, do you ever use it, or just look at it? I'm joking of course. It really is an excellent shed.
Do you really have a shower in the garage? I knew a bloke that was a dustman (refuse collector) that had a small extension/porch/wet room built so that he could get cleaned off before coming in the house...good idea and very practical, i thought. You all have workshops to aspire to, i must say
@podbros I sure do and a toilet as well and a hand basin. Also can put a washing machine in as well if I wanted, all the taps and trouth (sink) as well are there already.
@podbros Because that's where Michael lives so there is a wood heater too! And a air conditioner but not connected as yet
I don't have a special shed or a garage like you guys. I won't be posting any pictures showing the mess and clutter of my workshop. Well, that happens to be my bedroom too. The rest of my workshop junk is piled-up in my living room, which appears more like an unorganized store. There are no tables or chairs and there's hardly any free space to move around. There's no electricity here too.
@coleman54 Amazing! I particularly like the Mil-Spec corner, both for the lanterns and its practical application. Is the Coleman 275 deliberate?
@coleman54 O’ my God ....... your shed, I thought I had died and gone to heaven ....... Awesome ......... congratulations
I think you may have been upstaged Pete. Think I’ll just keep my head down now and never mention my lamps, my shed or anything else lamp connected ever again, I feel so humbled.
That's it, I agree with Jean! I give up... God help me if my wife ever gets wind of this... Arthritis will be the least of my worries!!
Thank you ! For all the very nice comments about my shed. @Buggerlugs @AussiePete @Alex Smith @Pancholoco1911 @Jean J @george Larry
Larry I always read all your posts here and there you are very knowledgeable about lanterns and Neil too, you guys are like human encyclopedias
Truly a Shed of Sheds ! I would have to keep it as just a lantern shed...I couldn't do any work there for fear of flying sparks!
Okay, deep breath, here goes. After some extra ordinary examples I thought I'd put mine up. My shed looks like a "mad man's hair cut" on a good day, don't ask about the bad days. (i.e. it is a little rough and ready, and not a pristine engineering work space). My fettling seat is a Swiss Army Lantern Box and the majority of lanterns are suspended from the roof to make space. P.S At least I have a space for them, and am very grateful for it. The photos are a bit dark, I've not got a lantern lit
@Alex Smith ... Alex, it's a great shed with fab Lamps and Lanterns!!! No wonder you have to hang em all up..There's so many of them!
Hey Alex, Your shed looks great and you have a wonderful collection of lanterns and lamps. My shed or garage is slowly coming along and will be a work space once again. Cheers, Norman
