Hi folks, see attached pic. The plunger is forcing itself back out! is doing this after only four strokes so pressure not high. Have changed all the washers etc but no change. Also I’m getting a fuel squirt when plunger reaches it’s furthest point. Ideas please?
@John Taylor Non Return Valve at the bottom of the pump is not sealing. Did you change the seal in it for a new one? If you did then undo it and make sure the mating sufaces are spotlessly clean and the rubber is not damaged and replace. It should work unless you have assembled the NRV wrong. You can stretch the spring a little if you think its not working correctly, but dont break it!
