I was browsing around looking at Quicklites. I am somehow hooked with the lamp looks and style. However, something i noticed with lamps of the era, they don't wear shades 8]

I went around looking around the house for reflectors to see which ones fit the hat.. and i found this…

What reflector is that? Its for a Sea Anchor. Ya gotta fit onto the hat, slanted first, the bail loop kinda makes it slightly tricky to get on. Eitherways, it fits really.

That looks great! The long-lost inspiration for the L227.

I think its a nice fit too and the outer diameter is close to the Vapalux ones. The shade of blue comes out well with the yellowey patina of the Quicklite. However, interestingly enough,
    1. this Sea Anchor nor a Butterfly shade doesn't sit nicely on a Petromax
    2. Butterfly shade 'ear holes' are smaller compared to the Sea Anchor's
    3. A vapalux shade inner diameter is too large for the Quicklite
