    Hi Superman very nice indeed it is not often we see a red or coloured globe on a lantern.i like the efect it gives when it is lit above the bench in the garden

    Red or amber globes can be useful in a 'buggy' environment as they do not attract bugs in the same way as white light. Red is also ignored by many animals. I have seen amber globes advertised as 'sportsmen amber'.
