What privilege do I need to offer to buy on the site? Been a member since 2011. I thought I had privileges. What am I missing?

If it's the trading post you're referring to, George, no-one (except the Admin team) has sufficient privileges to reply to listings. That's to stop negotiations - which are essentially private - from appearing on-screen. You need to message the person direct. Hope that helps... Edit: Crossed with pb...
