    Ok now for something completely different: I came across a video, about a home made camper van, in which a coffee maker caught my attention, I like the model and now want one.
    After using google search to the limit I found out it is a model made by ATOMIC in the sixties in the UK.

    So if you have one and want to part from it or see one on the hunt for lanterns, let me know, please.
    I have no idea what a normal second hand value is.
    Maybe it is the holy grail among coffee makers.

    Edit: I just found about on ebay that asking prices vary from 400 to 900 ! UK Pounds.
    if these are normal prices, I am out of the game before started.

    That much now eh? Doesn’t seem all that long ago they’d go for a couple of hundred GBP.

    I use a Vesuviana (well, three of different sizes), which are pretty and make good coffee, but they’re not as stylish as the Atomic I’ll grant.

    @Wim

    I have had an atomic since 1984. We use it everyday.

    There is a company in Australia (from whom I bought mine) that still sells them and spare parts (Bon Trading).

    They were designed in Italy in 1946.

    They sell well above AUD$300 second hand. New are unavailable at the moment. The stainless steel copies are not as good as the correct cast aluminium.

    Sold prices seem to be a more reasonable £200 for an unrestored model.
