Are a very good fit for a Tilley pre-heater torch.

    Have you got any pictures?
I’m thinking that the jars you speak of may be similar to some Pecks paste jars we can get in Aussie.
    Cheers

Do you have “Shiploads” up your way? They have a jar that’s an excellent size and shape for Tilley torches. Cheap, too.

I have not heard of Shiploads and I don’t believe they’re here in Toowoomba.
I’ve google them and had a look, there seems to be jars for $0.99 that look the part.
    Cheers

Baby food jars, too! They are great for the torch, although I keep my torch out of the bottle so I don't destroy them![-X

Ok... I know you all say there's no such thing as a stupid question, but I'm about to change that.

You keep liquid in the jar with the preheater torch?? Is that meths?? I've just keep mine in the jar for storage then I squirt it with meths when I need it

Because I have a few of these I keep the torch in the jar with the metho (as Tilley would have it with their jar and torch). But the steel wire will rust after a long time.

    Cheers

The pre-heater torches with the aluminium strip handle don't like to be stored in methylated spirit either...

I always tend to carry a Tilley torch like that! Wouldn't store them that way (I had to fill the jar last night to take the pic).
I use a big syringe for Vapaluxes.

Asda pesto jars are about the same size.
