Anchor 350 first light

    After a cleanup, straightening a very distorted upper vapoursier and pricker rod, some seals and a new pump NRV we lit up. I have to say after a slight jet nip up the second firing went well, providing quiet and flicker-free lighting for five hours.

    Looking good. I have a 350 like yours and a bunch of 500's and they all work really well. They need keeping out of the damp or the chrome will begin to rust but other than that, they're great.

    @ColinG I think it was one of your earlier comments as well as an opportunity to get one for not too much cash that convinced me to go for it. I did regret it as there was about an inch of bend on the vapouriser. Some gentle work with a small vice persuaded it to go back to where the factory intended. Amazed it didn't fracture. All my lamps live indoors :lol: - this one was pretty rusty when I rescued it...
