Power house by name

    Got the powerhouse 295 out from the back of the shed today and fitted new burner as top bolt let go on old one, new mantles and fuel and it fired up, needed a good bit of pumping so ive ordered a new pump to treat it. I have not started this for at least 14 yrs and it was a christmas present when i was 15 from my mum and dad. im 40 in 3 weeks. This will be handed down to my son and his hopefully

    Nice one.
    I also own two of these. They are work horses, work lanterns for quick use. Reliable
    And useful light output.
    I fettled side reflectors for those, from a chrome metal bathroom dustbin.
    And added the coghlans lighter.

    Id like to see photos of that mate as i hate the light going out towards the sea when fishing a dark beach

    I cut the chrome plated tin of a bathroom dustbin in two halfs. Used each half on one lantern.
    Attached to the center screw via a metal mount angle.
