Well as alot of people know I have had a tremendous start to this year.
So here is what I found today.
Took the wife out again and oops I found these, got to love taking your wife shopping, my dear wife did find plenty herself, so we have decided we better stay home
Now that the credit card is starting to get out of control, but how can you leave these baby's behind hmm, would you?
Now I got the last lamp in a deal and know nothing about it, I do think it's an Aladdin am I correct? If so any information would be appreciated thanks.

Very cool finds, the lighter coloured kayen looks to be maybe a copper tank. As the colour/patina, they are all very cool

Nice finds, again. Personally I like the two Kayens. Speckled hoods and both with the shade.

The last one is an Australian made Aladdin. It is a model 1A and is the first of the nickel plated variety and is most likely from the 1950s. You should be able to find lots of info about them on the site.

I actually bought this Kayen for all the other parts as I thought the fount was too far gone the control cock valve was on a bad angle and full of a very bad soldering job, so I decided I have nothing to loose, this is how she came up.

So far pretty happy with myself, I hope that doesn't sound like I'm boasting as I'm not.

Brian, your wife is obviously your lucky charm and you must always take her with you and take care of her! I see you have more reflectors with lugs they’re obviously more common in Australia than in Scotland.

@Jean J, thanks and no not really you have to sometimes buy 2 or more to get the reflector, some have reflectors but the founts are no good, or the globes are broken or sometimes both, but if you are lucky you can get a winner.

How do you do it? Another great haul, we’ll done mate.
Finding any of these lamps and parts here in the UK would certainly not be an everyday occurrence!

Hi @Buggerlugs :) .. Its like saying ' as rare as hens teeth' or similar..

At Walton-on-the-Naze there are crumbly cliffs with different layers.. most common finds are fossilised tree branches and prehistoric sharks teeth that wash out.. but you have to have a keen eye..

Maybe you'd be good at it! ;)

Re your Kayen only for parts i noticed the solder on handle to font collars and have had a few similar (not soldered but very loose)can be fixed by peining end of handle more.
Also top of your font has been pushed in a bit I have rectified that by tightly wrapping a rag around the vaporiser and placing a rubber soled boot hard against the font on either side and pulling firmly upwards.
Notes (must have boots on your feet), try a little at a time.

@george, that's okay as March is better anyway, for a big antique fare.

 I don't think you really need any more encouragment. If we had an award for most lamps acquired in 20/21 you would win it hands down.. good on yer mate..
