Looking really great there, I hope that the tape isn't holding the pressure in?
    Or is it just paint?

Thanks! Kind of happy with the results. The white lines on OD green is where the tape was removed. I painted that area white first and masked it with Scotch painterstape. I wanted that logo there (campingclub logo). But upon removal some snippets of paint were also removed, hence the flaky result. But I don't mind. It's a user lamp for camping trips.

We can always ask the mods to move this post to the Monstrosities thread :-).

Looks to be going like a train ! .. I like it

Reminds me of your other one, the Dutch (Army) Veritas ? .. Did the hood get the same treatment or am I way off?

@podbros yes you are right. It does look a bit like the P350 although that one has still the original army paint job on the fount.
I've given the tilley hood the same coats of black stove paint as this held extraordinary well on the Veritas hood. Only difference is that the Veritas hood was bare steel and this tilley hood was a lot more crusty with damaged enamel and rust. Let's see how it holds. No problem giving it an extra coat every once in a while.
