    Ive been looking for a lantern cap for my optimus 200, looked everywhere and wouldn’t you know it I had one in the pantry.Dose it look the part? 1D4659AA-867D-4F0E-97AF-4A38BFE08D6C.jpeg

    Looking good Darryl and a lovely lamp.
    There is something about these old optimus 200's that make them an absolute joy to play with and they put out a good light for 200cp.

    That does the job and a brass ashtray or a brass bowl fitted upside down will also do the job.

    But, have you removed the inner plastic film and rubber seal?

    The lid fits, but the screws are a bit too modern. :)
