    Hi all!!
Going thru my spares today and found a few of these generators, Fitment unknown to me.
Just about certain to be American made, but that's all I've got.

Quarter inch thick, four and three sixteenths inch long, steel spring internal, threaded pricker rod about five inches long, including pricker wire. Jet marked D

Thanks in advance for any input!! Mystery gens 002.JPG

The length, threaded pricker and D stamped jet rule out Coleman . Do a search for threaded prickers to narrow the search.

    Cheers Peter

Maybe a Colman L220/228 slant generator lantern or a Coleman cloths iron.

Certainly not for a Coleman slant lantern. I know well the Q77 and T88 generators that fit those.

Maybe they might be iron gennys, perhaps for Canadian 611A irons. Haven't been able to find the dimensions of those.

Is it conclusive that the pricker rod belongs to the generator? It looks too long to me. Of course, I don't know the set up of the pricker but it does look too long.

Could you please confirm that the jet is marked “D”
Or whether it could possibly be a “P” ?

Very true, but those 603-299 iron generators do not approximate the size of these unidentified ones.

I think coleman54 has nailed it. Coleman 605-299 for 611A, or #5 irons.
