Hipolito H502 Test

Not long had this H502 Hipolito, and checked it over today. All it needs is the Hood polishing up and a new pricker needle.
As It needs a needle, I fired it up with just a little pressure and boy it's blinding!
Pleased with this one!

 

Yep, the 500cp Hipolito, petromax, geniol and clones can be very bright.

 

New Needle installed, plenty of preheating and new eyeballs please!

@JEFF JOHNSON They certainly are, but I keep forgetting about these big 500CP's needing loads of preheat time.....

 

A good lantern Johnny ! - they are good albeit a bit noisy and almost too bright for small gardens. You can put a 350 needle and jet in them tho

 

@Fireexit1 Cheers, but I'll leave it be, as I have a Butterfly which is easier on the retinas. The Hipolito seems brighter than the Petromax believe it or not!
The Hipolito will be added to my 'Camping Roster'........
