I have just bought a Vapalux.

I have just about got this Vapalux finished now, so a couple of pictures to look at. I have matched the paint as near as I could to the original colour, but have taken a liberty with the cage, I like it plus it's only paint so can be reversed anytime. Also included the money shot, I am very pleased with the way this lamp has turned out, it's deffo one of my favourites now.

 

Contrary to my earlier comments about originality, the lamp looks really good, well fettled!

Many thanks for all your nice replies, a couple of questions, is the decal regarding the steel tank warning still available, and if so where would I buy one from also are there any diagrams showing all the seals and locations for the seals for this lamp ? I ask because i bought a pack of seals from The Base camp but the one for the vaporiser seems to be ill fitting not at all like the original Red one that was still on the lamp, all the others seem fine.

 

Not seen any decals for that - but you can buy waterslide paper and print on it with a laser printer if you have an image to print (or re-create) - I have not done it myself.
Surprised about base camp washer being 'wrong' and if it is I am sure they will send another.

 

This packet states the location rather than shows it.
