@bp4willi , a very cool, well made lanterns, very bright, hours no years of fun to be had, a beginning of a family air loom, I have the fire fly and the lightning bug, price verses quality never looked back
Congratulations! The HC is one of my top 2 favorite lanterns with the Night Hawk 701. Like the member Titoo said , it not only the lantern its the people, the Amish , who produce the lantern that make it very special.

This is the Lightning look with different screens. Hasag screen versus Petromax screen. Which one matches better?? PX is the larger one.
Screens each look good to me, I can't choose. lol I think the Petromax Cooking Tripod would make a quality looking lantern stand for the LB, its too heavy for most. The Petromax Tripod stand is certainly large enough (144cm) and robust (40kg load). But its heavy too, 4250g. If you don't need foldable, this is my very simplistic solution. Simple rebar rod 10mm thick 120cm long 20cm crank.
You just slide the PX reflector on the top of the LB? You don't have to do any modifications to the reflector?
Ok, thanks! Have you tried placing a remote-controlled LED flashlight in your lamp for those occasions when you just want to light your room without having to worry about CO and kerosene?
