Aladdin Hanging Mantle Lamps

Do you see many Aladdin hanging oil lamps? I saw one recently. It had a tall cylinder and appeared to be in-tact. Had Aladdin on the globe, near the top I think. But it seemed a bit pricey.

 

Aladdin an original marked glass globe are not cheap. That's true.

That's the cheap part of the lamp, it's the shade which will cost more

 

I believe this is a Nu-Type Model B.

It’s an unknown word here too, my lamps are all looking neglected at the moment. Came home with a 516 Aladdin shade the other day funnily enough, no lamp and the frame seemed to be rusted through so I didn’t bother taking it. Is that a 516 on one of your hanging Aladdin lamps Anthony it looks to be the shape.

 

I`m ashamed to say I had to look in the book to see what the 516 shade was.
There was a time I didn`t have to do that.

There was the painted one and the opal.
