Hipolito Parts

Are Hipolito parts easy to come by? Affordable?

 

Hipolito parts are identical to Petromax parts (or most clones thereof).

 

I saw these for sale. Are these able to be salvaged without too much additional money? Are they good lanterns to have?

 

Those guy in the picture are amish conversions. With things like schrader valves stuck in the tank, frame modded to accept the coleman 660/690 globe and a penchant for white gas because there was a thread here detailing how they modded them.

 

Are Amish conversions a bag thing? More difficult to find parts?

 

found the threads, Another Amish Special Petromax 829 , Petromax all or part
judge for yourself though I think the valve assembly should be the same except the top j tube part which is modded for white gas.

 

Well they are not Hipolito related (any more).
