Coleman table lamp. Slant generator model. Can not remember the model number. I have one I will take an image tomorrow.
@Tony Press Coleman part no. 117-342 shade holder, there was also an insect screen with clips designed to attach to this holder no. 350A.
Thanks, folks. I’d love to find one of those insect screens to go with the shade holder. It came on a Coleman bracket lamp along with this device that was clamped to the air tube: Cheers Tony @JEFF JOHNSON @Jones the lamp @coleman54
@Tony Press That particular device is not familiar to me, here’s another one that may not be common knowledge either, not just for the Amish as this one was marketed 100 plus years ago.
@Tony Press as @Jones the lamp said followed by Jeff, a Coleman 118 Slant table lamp. Here is mine .... Love the Coleman Slants ..... Cheers Pete
@coleman54 This is how it came: Edit: I’ll have a close look at the marks tonight to see if it migrated at any time, and where it may have spent most of its time. Cheers Tony
Glad you got that wall lamp Tony. Norman, Colin and I though hard on what this gadget could be and I reckon that it could be adjusted to sit just below the mantles to give them some protection when lighting the lamp . Just a guess here but the kinda boomerang shaped plate looks to me to be sized to match the mantles' spacing. What do you reckon? Cheers Pete @Tony Press
@coleman54 & @AussiePete The only obvious mark I can see on the air tube is the light area of corrosion in this photo: If it indicated the position of the object, or something the object fitted, then: Tony
Ha! Idiot am I! Of course that fitting has to be 90° to 180° from where I photographed it because of the generator. So it needs to sit to the side or behind the generator/ airtube. Having said that... Edit: More photos tomorrow. Tony @coleman54
