    Hi all,
A friend of mine bought this heater, but without the protective grille.
Could someone send me a plan to make one?
    Regards.

I haven't got any detailed drawings with measurements.

There is a HotRay on ebay .com.au at the moment and it has the grill. I suspect if you look at that, you will be able to make one quite easily that wont be far off the mark. They are crudely made and for anyone that can weld, easy.

Sadly, I can't weld, if I could, I'd have made one for mine by now.

    Hi Matty,
I drawn a grille based on the pictures find on CPL:
    GRILLE COLEMAN 480.JPEG
I found a grid with a mesh of 50x50mm, and 3.7mm rod. By removing excess rods, I should get it.

I contacted Graham P and he answered me today.
" The heater shown as well as the lamps are display items at the "Jindera Pioneer Museum" 15 km away. I would have to make arrangements with the curator for a visit to take measurements "

So i could bring soon a drawing with real mesurements on the forum.

    Hello!

About to re-furbish my Hot Ray (complete with original ceramic radiant).
At some point I came across a description of a grill that was made from some other stove, but of course I cannot find it now...

Apparently, the dimensions were almost identical to the Coleman original, just requiring modification to the 'legs'.

    Does anyone recall this?

Short of that, has anyone got a drawing of the actual measurements of the grill, so I can fabricate one myself?

Thanks for any info that might help!

    Ben

    Will this help ?
