Solaris 200 first light

Still missing a needle and using a cheap mantle for testing but a very pleasant little lamp:

 

So a 200cp lantern of an Optimus 200 size. Chinese?

 

Union Metal Works Hong Kong. Imported years back by a pair of board members here. AKA Solar. It seems well made mostly with some aspects letting it down (mainly the cap and glass)

 

Nice fire up!

 

Those are well made lanterns, but the vents in the hood are a bit large for windy places.

видGood afternoon or night !. I have such a retromax 2827/200 lamp. I am trying to unscrew the pressure pump, it is unscrewing, but it cannot be pulled out. Even unscrewing the nut of the lamp carburetor regulator and I can not pull it out either.

as you can see it does unscrew. You might have to shake it a little after it is unscrewed

 

Long tweezers are also helpful.

Hi Eugene - that website address has the dissasembly and assembly details. It is not the same lamp as yours, but very similar
