The lantern is self explanatory, the second I am not sure if it was the aesthetic lines of the Bialaddin 310 or the prosecco that "converted" Mrs Fireexit

Firexit1, I must admit to personally taking a 'dislike' of the 310 for the very reasons you say you attracted you to it. The small collar always made the lamp look out of proportion in my mind where I much preferred the 'stockier' appearance of the M1/21C. However, Over the last couple of years I have definitely changed my mind about it's shape and now I'm warming towards it's svelt outline...lol.

Vapalux/Bialaddin lamps make up the majority of my collection, but a 310 evades me!

Nice lantern and a lovely lady to accompany and add to the glow.

That is a great idea, a bottle of prosseco! With that as a secret weapon I might be able to have more light ups without getting nagged at.
I love the lamp as well, I have an example with an earlier top fitted and I am quite fond of it, it is different to all my other lamps and it works really well.
