Chalwyn Tempest Lamp

    Hi,

    There's a Chelwyn Tempest lamp on sale at local charity shop for £20. Research off internet suggests circa 1970. http://www.lampguild.org/QandApage/archives/Q0004174.htm

    One in shop looks like its been reprinted black, original glass, rusty wick. Aesthetically I don't like the look of it.

    Views sought please on whether I should buy it.

    I presume for that price, it's the gold plated version... :thumbup:
