A few weeks ago I dismantled 3 lamps, a Bialaddin and two Vapalux but like a fool I’ve managed to get the parts mixed up. I think I’ve sorted most out but I have different length pumps here and would appreciate someone letting me know if a fount with the pressure tit should have the long or short pump rod ?

Photos will help us determine which is which.

I've looked at my Vapalux and Bialaddin lanterns with and without pressure tit. These images show why some pump rods are longer than others. The short one is on the left.

Thanks for the pictures. Which one is for the lamp with pressure tit, long or short ?

I have examples of both but I can't guarantee accuracy because they came to me pre-owned, so your guess is as good as mine.

I'd say it's more the age of the lantern rather than whether or not it has a pressure tit. Check out the Lamp Reference gallery, you'll see that most (if not all) older Vapalux & Bialaddin lanterns both with and without a pressure tit, have long pump rods like the one on the left in the images I posted. The short pump rods seem to be standard on the later 320s.
