Coleman 242K price

I only bid once, but have been following a auction for a Coleman 242K lantern. Wow! I got mine a year ago for a fraction of the current high bid on one on the bay. Mine is nicer. Lucky too, I found a early 247 with the wheel last year too which I thought was a 242K, but the date is off, too late.

That bidding site is a real troublemaker sometimes.

 

You can't pay too much for a good lantern; you can only pay it too soon.

 

Looking at some crazy bids and some BIN prices, I got some bargains with my kero lanterns and a few other not so common lanterns. A few of my stoves are now going for $700 to over $1,000 USD.
