    This is a Coleman lamp shade, made of some kind of plastic material. I have the remnants of another of the same pattern where the shade has cracked and disintegrated. Both were found in Australia.

    Thanks @Tony Press :thumbup: That is lovely!

    Would it be possible to have an idea of the appropriate dimensions at all please?

    I shall go and peruse the library for an idea of the age :-)

    @podbros

    I should have shown the measurements above:

    Diameter at top ~22cm (9”)
    Diameter at base ~32.5cm (13”)
    Vertical height ~19.5cm (7.5”)

    About three o’clock this morning I had the thought, “Why did I call it a Coleman shade?”. I then remembered that the brittle/broken shade I have came off a Coleman table lamp.

    Cheers

    Tony

    I love it Tony. Is the colour green or more a duck egg blue? Great find.

    Very Beautiful and you’re very lucky for that acquisition.

    Jean,

    It’s more to the pale green than to the blue.

    I’ve been informed that these shades were available through Coleman-Thomas (CJ Thomas & Sons/Coleman Quick-lite Co. of Australia) in Melbourne.
