    Hello all, today I was using a can of expanding foam to seal the shed window frame as it is in poor condition and I forgot to wear gloves, that foam sticks to the skin harder than glue and trying to pick it off is dangerous as it literally takes the flesh with it.

    I managed to remove some of it with white spirit, but the rest is to stubborn so I shall just have to let it wear off naturally.

    So the moral of this tale is wear gloves.

    @JEFF JOHNSON So sorry to hear of your plight Jeff. Good advice. It’s a while since I’ve used the stuff and would surely have remembered that outcome if it had happened to me. I recall that a pair of latex gloves were included in the pack, so I very probably used them.

    Hello John, I'm normally very careful, but today I made a daft mistake and now I have to put up with the consequences of that mistake, such is life, Jeff.

    Thinner should work as long as you don’t have real sensitive skin...

    @JEFF JOHNSON

    I think all carpenters have tried it.
    But just calm down.
    By the way, nothing can adhere for a long time to living skin, so don't worry - in 2-3 days everything is gone again.
