@Hebusletroll asked in his thread about Qlima kerosine. My First Tilley X246B running :)

A little online investigation reveals that this Kerosine/Paraffin is manufactured from natural gas (methane) so is naturally lower in impurities and seems to have the higher flashpoint that the super - deodourised kerosines do. Qlima are a dutch company Qlima Kristal: an odourless heater fuel for paraffin heaters - Qlima

Like many they do not advertise this for use in lanterns but mention heaters, however as evident from hebusletroll's thread it does seem to work.
Has anyone else tried this I wonder ? - for those who like to run lanterns indoors it may have some appeal.

I use QLIMA fuel since long time as i own 2 heaters : 1 Inverter 5727 (Electronics) & 1 QLIMA R812C (Off grid). (Please Note that QLIMA brand = Zibro = Toyotomi).
And this fuel work perfectly on Aladdin 21 / 23 / MaxBrite too with a great light output !

Here the result on my Aladdin 21 (I have multiple shades and recently upgraded with a Ribbed Shade Red / Green on 10" circle tripod).

(Yes I LOVE Aladdin lamp too ^^).
This lamp is uncommon in France / EU (Except UK).

QLIMA Kristal is odorless, and really easy to find in France.

Sounds like we need a distributor here in the U.S.........any volunteers? :)

I have three Aladdins left after a divorce, a model 12 nickel plated table lamp, a modern model 23 just like yours and an aluminum "caboose" lamp that I picked up, brand new in a hardware store for ..........five dollars. I also bought any extra mantles and wicks that they had.

Unfortunately, she whose name will not be mentioned got off with my model 12 hanging lamp complete with the original shade. Come to think of it, she got off with a LOT of things that used to be mine! :(

I am sure somebody in the US is making Gas to Liquid fuels for over the counter sales. I suspect many as shale gas extraction is big in the US. I know Shell do it there - but I think much of it ends up in aviation fuel.

I have found people that sell the Qlima branded heaters in the UK but nobody sells the fuel. Amazon UK did but now says out of stock and they dont know when it will be back.

zibro fuel is one of the brand names in the UK but out of stock
