    Hi fellas, my first 541 has an additional base rim on the bottom about 20mm, making it look different, apparently because the tank is made of steel they rusted out pretty quickly , who ever altered the base did so for this reason, my latest one the base is good, I think it’s sat around for decades in someone’s shed image.jpg

    Steel tank bottoms do rust when left standing on a shelf. This happens with hurricane lnaterns all to often.
    Lantern looks good but bottom is rusted beyond repair.
