Moin, Today I was able to get an Petromax 828 from 4/1941 put back into operation. The nice thing about it is that the lamp including the still preserved transport box came to me. The lamp was completed by the company OTTE Starklichttechnik with the box and delivered via a dealer in Magdeburg. The lamp needed a lot of maintenance and some parts, as the previous owners thought it was a great idea to replace the carburetor and the inner jacket for a candle Unfortunately, the surface coating was so badly attacked that it could be wiped off while cleaning like an old reflector. So I had to polish the lamp as much as possible. A total shit job! But at least I like the result!
