Very nice Tony ! Always hard to tell scale from pictures but do you think the shade would suit other lamps as well or is the size more suitable for this smaller one? Always great to see the lamp with the shade and even better to see it lit
I’ll play, at first glance the tank appears to be a Canadian built Coleman 128C. Shades are a weak subject for me; I simply find one I like at a antique market. Let’s see the globe.
John is correct about the lamp. It’s a Canadian Coleman 128C in cream with gold highlights. The shade is shown here: Coleman Shade It is the same as the shade that was on the lamp when I got it, except that particular shade was like this: The plastic shade was brittle and broken. I keep the good one in a box. Apparently these shades were available through Coleman-Thomas (CJ Thomas & Sons/Coleman Quick-lite Co. Of Australia). I’ll get this lamp in the Reference Gallery this weekend, hopefully. Cheers Tony
