I know this is a bit off topic as it not is a lamp and I was not sure if I should list it here or on CCS.
I believe most collectors knows about Lilor and that they med both lamps and stoves. But I have never heard that they made irons too so I descided to post it.
Very similar in design as many other German and American brands.

It does indeed share a lot of attributes with other irons, knowing the French; I’d love to see what the burner looks like.

    Hi Bo,

A nice old Lilor sad iron. I think this may be the 4510 Lilor iron, shown in the 1928/29 catalogues.

Also later Lilor irons from 1937 … maybe inspired from Coleman!?

What a marvellous object, certainly welcome here by my reckoning.

It is definitely a 4510, thank you for identifying it. John, I will post a photo showing the burner.

Here it is in parts. Now I can see the burner is totally different from other German irons. So definitely a French design inspired by Coleman as you mention, Conny.
I am glad I didn't light it as it is full of fluff from clothes. Would probably been a great fireworks.
