I could not resist buying this cute little optimus 100 N, it looked like a lovely lamp in need of saving. It was not in bad condition, but the cracked Smokey glass was saying blocked generator to me. I had a go at running it as found just for fun, it ran but didn't have much go in it so time to unblock the generator. It took all day but got there in the end. I was lucky the jet and needle were ok as I am not aware of any spares available. I can see why the glass was cracked, the pre heater put more flame outside the lamp rather than directing up to where it was needed. It pretty much fired up straight away and it runs really well apart from needing lots of pumping as I have yet to change the rubber bits. When taking pics I noticed that I forgot to clean the hood and realised it was running on the heating oil I used to flush the tank with. The last pic should show it between a 1550 and a 200 for size reference. Enjoy the pics James
These old 100 cp lanterns are cute. I might have a spare glass if you want one. Not for sure with Optimus logo but with Radius. But the same size. I also have mica glass that fits, original stamped Optimus If you don't bother too much about original a Santrax glass will fit too. Bo
