No it bloody doesn't! We went for an evening walk yesterday and there were loads of the little bar stewards!
@ColinG I’ll trade you a day. Recently here in sunny Queensland we had a brisk morning of -4.1C I saw a brass monkey running around with a soldering iron muttering about reattaching some balls or some such Enjoy Pete
@ColinG I feel for you. Add 10 degrees to your thermometer and set the humidity at 85% and you've got today on the sunny Gulf Coast of Florida. Thought about mowing the pasture today, went outside for a minute and thought to myself "So what if I can't see the horse, the grass looks lovely that tall." Back into the AC and poured a glass of something cold.
I know you had some very hot days Colin but wasn’t that followed by some flooding? We’ve just had three days more like October than July. It’s a funny old world isn’t it and a feast or a famine as far as the weather goes. Life would be quite boring otherwise.
Indeed Jean, it's been very wierd recently... too hot to venture out one day and chilly the next! I've just been messing about with my Coleman 128 in the garage workshop and I've got a jumper on 'cos I was cold!
