Built in the twenties, last century. Globe is a reproduction I working condition. Lantern runs ONLY with an original Coleman mantle. Regular 150, 200 mantles didn't work
Karli, nice lamp ! Without the typical AGM P 66 top end scroll it may be the equivalent Nulite lamp “No.296 Standard Portable Table Lamp”. You can see my version Standard-Gillett Light Co. No. 296 Portable Table Lamp in the Reference Gallery/ American section/Other brands. It’s hard to tell from your image but it probably has the D type burner, where fuel control goes through the cowl. Any markings on the lamp? Karli, you could probably use a larger mantle on this lamp as it is a 400 CP lamp. I beleive I used a 500CP mantle when I tried mine! /Conny
Here an other pic with marking. @conny my burner looks like your burner from the STANDARD. In the back left, this is a part from a palm, which a found at Lybia on a 4 week dessert trip 2008.
This is a nice AGM P66 from around WW1 period. The same thing without the scroll would be a D66 or 466 but this one has a typical Washington burner head and the top scroll. The burner on these can be tricky and often they will not work without a globe to contain and funnel the heat up to the generator. ::Neil::
Karli, sorry I missed that scroll as it was kinda´ hidden in the window pane reflex ions from your garden; or it could be that I didn’t use my glasses when looking at the picture ! /Conny
@all Thanks for your answers Always looking forward for a lamp which will make us (especially me) happy
