What do I call this part?: Coleman

I thought I’d start out with a fairly standard Coleman gasoline lantern for this post. It is meant as a naming guide for newcomers trying to fathom US lanterns.

Very nice Tony, if I may; it would be nice to get “single mantle” added to the description.

While the parts description does remain the same and covers the majority of American lanterns; the double mantle has a few design differences that could give pause to a true novice.

I was going to take a double mantle lantern from the same catalogue and post it. I hadn’t decided whether to post it in this thread, or another one. I’ll discuss it with the mods.
