USFS lantern help identifying

    Found this at a local estate sale, research I've been able to do points to it possibly being a Coleman l427, but its hard to say, the color doesn't look right. Any info on this would be great.

    burnout is correct……it’s an AGM USFS lantern…
    They are notorious for leaks…..but still very desirable.
    Leave the paint alone on the bottom if possible….it appears to be original.

    This lantern was originally fitted with a brass bound mica globe fitted with sliding door
