What is the best/easiest way to unstick an Aladdin blue flame heaters wick that has stuck in situ, i guess the Paraffin on the wick has dried and bonded it to the centre part.

    Hi mg
Instinct says try petrol as it is slightly cheaper than carb cleaner!
    Good luck

Thanks PB, i have used a thin knife in the past but have some brake cleaner so may give that a go as it evaporates and shouldn't leave any nasty smells behind hopefully.

Soak it in WD-40, doesn't evaporate quickly and smells great! Has worked for me in the past.
