What model AGM lantern valves look like this one from a model 100? Poor pics, I broke off the part that is 180 degrees opposite the valve shaft. I managed to extract the remaining piece out of the valve without mangling it as after I broke it off, I saw it screwed in, but broke it when trying to unscrew the valve from the fount. Pics don't show the piece I extracted. Duane
Similar valves are on 3606 and 3608, but other valves I think have similar design with the piece 180 degrees opposite the shaft. Duane
Received my repaired valve back today, found a fount that it would take the valve as the original fount was very stress cracked. Lantern was a little cantankerous to get going, then I shut it down as it had a leak out the valve stem and base of the genny. It also overran the mantle. Added packing to the valve stem and adjusted the genny a little, not sure I was helping it. Cantankerous to get going again, but finally got it going again, no fuel leaks and no overrun for some reason. Nice. Duane
Turns out the Coleman QL 327 fount I found has a couple small steess cracks, looked at my lamps and took apart a AGM lamp tonight tried unscrewing the riser but it was soldered to a nut on the inside of the fount so I wrecked a working kero lamp, so I have AGM lamp parts now instead of a working lamp. I did get the model 100 parts fired up a couple times before checking for leaks when I found the cracks, so I know the parts work. On the hunt for a 327 or Coleman 242 fount. Duane
