Just nice and reliable.

 

Now that lamp says “work”. I didn’t know Hasag were also made in Switzerland.

 

Also Swiss Eugen Schatz Hasag , Zug.
Meinrad Aschwanden was successor of Eugen Schatz business

 

Very nice lantern ,do you know the date of manufacture.

Very nice Hasag. I didn't know they were once made in Switzerland too.
I guess we wouldn't have any doubts about quality. I've heard of a certain famed expression about 'Swiss Precision'.

Both men worked together in the Schatz company until E. Schatz died.
Then M. Aschwanden used his own name to brand the lantern further on.
The lanterns where never made in Swiss but put together from parts they had obtained. Later on M. Aschwanden didn't succeed in getting spare parts made for reasonable amounts/prices.
