I got this lantern the other day. There is no Optimus mark on the glove but overall it is in very good condition. However, there is a problem with the generator, the screws that connect the upper and lower parts are not tightened. I'm looking for a replacement part, if you know anything please let me know. Will the generator of the Optimus 300 work with this lantern?
With that square profile at the top of the generator I don't think it is from Optimus. Looks more like something from Hasag. The generator for this model is unique, so there is nothing from other models that fits. I have had a 200 vapouriser extended before, so that is an option.
Thanks for your reply. What method did you use to extend the 200 vapouriser? And what is the length of the extension?
Sorry about the wait. I have now measured the vapouriser from my Optimus 253 from the same period as yours. The total length, without jet, is 130.3 mm. Just for comparison, I measured an Optimus 200 vapouriser from the same period at 109.2 mm. Here you can see pictures of the 253 I took it from and a comparison of sizes of a 253 and 200 vapouriser.
