My new Petromax Rapid.

    Hi, few days ago I purchased new Petromax 826 rapid, Im really proud of it. At the bottom of tank is date 7 40. Lamp looks almost like new. It doesnt work, I need to fix needle and walve. I hope Will fix it this weekend... rap1.jpg rap 2.jpg rap 2.jpg rap3.jpg rap5.jpg rap4.jpg

    Very nice, certainly from the later 1930s or early 1940s. The tank bottom should have some scratched numbers which show the date, sometimes hard to see.

    Nice old Petromax 828 300HK lantern you have.
    It looks not used often or used in a good manor. The red enamel is in good condition as is the brass plate on it. If you have the original marked globe, use another. E&G marked globes are getting rare.

    Unfortunately globe is French, I don't have none original globe for Px 828, otherwise got 12 original globes for Px 2827 because this is core of my collection...
