Veritas 350 Model B first light

    Dated Feb 1952. I have really enjoyed fettling this one. Temporary bail formed of an old welding rod. I love the Esso "White Rose" paraffin label - I am young enough to have only ever kown Esso "Blue"

    Does this type of lantern have date stamped at tank bottom or where did you see 1952 prod year?

    Very nice! I have a similar lantern though not working as yet, my memory has let me down on where I ‘hid’ the new nrv and seals!

    Pity, my Veritas lantern doesn't have such stamp on the rim.
