Montgomery Ward Vase Lamp

I don't think this is a very common lamp.
Required a bit of work to get it going. The generator was stuck in the valve body and the pricker control was broken off. Parchment shade would be correct but this will do for now.

Nice lamp, the top is original or from electric lamp?

 

It's from a earlier vintage lamp.

 

The shade is an original Akron shade from a pressure lamp!
The vase lamp originally came with a parchment shade.
