I was feeling left out with the Coleman collectors starting to show off their Christmas lanterns. As it is very unlikely a genuine Coleman Christmas lantern will show up here in Yorkshire I made my own, Halifax style! Bialaddin 300X fount with a 315 hood. First run out for my recent car boot sale find globe too. As a bonus, the silver 315 actually looks quite smart with the 300X green hood on.

I haven’t bought many Christmas presents, written any cards or put the tree up yet but all set on the lantern front!

Nice lanterns. Decorate the space with holly leaves and fruits. That'd be unmistakably Chrismas.

The first picture looks like a fine christmas card to me, Scott. And you 'posted' it uncountable times worldwide. Remarkable how the bright red turns into a brownish colour when hot. Nice array of lamps you have there!

Yeah shame about the heat effect on the hood but it would typically be used in the dark anyway.

Ha, yes I tend to post on here, FB and Insta. Different contacts on each platform.

I like it! A Bialaddin Christmas lamp, what’s not to like? I too might have to imitate...

Nice festive line-up! Now you need a selection of multi-coloured globes and string them around the workshop!:thumbup:
