    bleak winter scene ... " the way we were " ... a superb film very watchable ..

    Four foot of snow and equipped with flat cap shovel and tilley lamp, the trains run.

    Now, 4mm of snow and the country grinds to a halt.

    . . . and not a hi-vis vest, hard hat, pair of gloves / impact resistantant safety goggles in sight and I'll bet none of them were wearing steel toe-capped boots either. It's a miracle any of them survived the ordeal.
