This is a lamp I have had for a long time. When I bought it, it had been converted to run on kerosene. I have now converted it back to run on alcohol. This was done by drilling out an old 991 jet to 0.25mm and making a new cleaning needle to suit. A restrictor for the air intake was added and a few attempts found that a 4.5mm hole in the restrictor worked well. This is the /2 version with the full opal globe and the top cap is a reproduction. The date mark is AH 1. The pictures of it lit are both with and without a flash.

Quite a graceful lamp, guess the globe alone would be worth a pretty penny.

Thanks for the comments all. I'm quite pleased with the result myself. :)

I always like to use the argument that alcohol is a sustainable fuel. :)
